Bovine whole blood is collected from healthy animals of any breed, either sex, 1 year or older. The blood is refrigerated within 6 hours of collection, processed within 24 hours and frozen at -20°C. The serum is thawed and passed through a 0.22 micron filter, bottled and returned to -20°C
